Stator Overmolding Solutions Using Engineering Plastics
What Is Stator Overmolding?
Overmolding is a process used to encapsulate stator cores or insulation structures
with high-temperature engineering plastics, enhancing electrical insulation,
mechanical stability, and durability in motor operation.
Materials & Process Capabilities
• PA66 and PA66 reinforced with glass fiber(PPS/PBT/PA6/LCP)
• Controlled wall thickness for insulation integrity
• Injection molding and overmolding coordination
• Epoxy resin coating support (optional)
Typical Applications
- EV traction motors
- E-Bike & Scooter Motors
- Industrial Motors
- Axial Flux Motors
Our Role in Overmolding Projects
We act as a supply chain integrator, coordinating with qualified molding factories
to ensure technical accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery.
We do not operate VPI processes or supply complete stator assemblies.
• Design feasibility review
• Factory coordination and sampling
• Production support from prototype to mass production
